Honey Lips Ingredients

Honey Lips is made of sweet almond oil, coconut oil, beeswax, avocado oil, cocoa butter, lanolin, and essential oils. That's it.

Know your ingredients:

Sweet Almond Oil-comes from the dried kernal of the plant. It is considered to be a great emollinent (something that softens) and is a mild, lightweight oil that is easily absorbed into the skin and is high in omega-3.

Coconut Oil- comes from the dried meat of the coconut and is also a great moisturizer and softener. studies show it is as effective as mineral oil but without the adverse reactions. It has also been found effective against some forms of candida yeast.

Beeswax- It's been estimated that bees fly 150,000 miles to produce one pound of beeswax. It's a tough wax made of many compounds. It's a lubricant and a protectant in our lip balm.

Avocado Oil- is one of the few vegetable oils that does not come from seeds but from the pressed pulp from around the pit. it also has amazing moisturizing qualities.

Cocoa Butter- is a pure edible vegetable fat from that comes from the cacao bean. It has a smooth texture and moisturizing properties.

Lanolin- is a substance secreted by sheep to help them shed water from thier coats. It's used to waterproof and to soothe.

Essential Oils- are the oil of the plant they come from. They are extracted by distillation. This oil is called "essential" because it carries the scent or essence of the plant. You won't find any lip balm flavors that are say "cotton candy" from Honey Lips because cotton candy doesn't exist in nature. We don't use fake fragrances or colors in our lip balm, only real things like essential oils and the other ingredients above.
